Smooth and creamy mashed potatoes flavored with freshly shaven parmesan, garlic, and butter.
Ingredients

4– 5 large russet potatoes
1/2 cup heavy cream (more if needed for smoothness)
1/2 cup salted (1 stick) butter
1 tsp kosher salt (salt to taste)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Peel and chop potatoes into quarters. Be sure to rinse the potatoes before dropping them into a large pot of water. Heavily salt the pot of water.
- Bring the pot to a boil, then cover. Boil the potatoes until they are tender. Then drain them. Put the potatoes back into the pot.
- Add room temp, heavy creamy, freshly grated parmesan, and seasonings. Use a potato masher to mash the potatoes until they are smooth. Use a spoon to stir and combine well. Be sure to taste the potatoes and adjust the salt level and smoothness.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
